More quotations from my notebooks, which I feel are very pertinent to the way I would like to live my life, and also to the philosophy of this blog:
We have no more right to consume happiness without producing it, than we have to consume wealth without producing it.
George Bernard Shaw
Don’t just be better than your contemporaries or your predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.
William Faulkner
Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no ones definition of your life; define yourself.
-Harvey Fierstein
and because Christmas is coming up:
If you never did, you should.
These things are fun,
and fun is good.
Dr. Seuss
What inspiring quotes do you choose to live your life by, if any?

The back of my mini Moleskine is for quotations!! Recently I’ve been liking the below.
“Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to lie that nothing else can bring.” – Oscar Wilde
“People will stare. Make it worth their while.” – Harry Winston
“Millions and millions of years would still not give me half enough time to describe that tiny instant of all eternity when you put your arms around me and I put my arms around you.” – Jacques Prévert
And of course, the mug which I featured on my blog, saying “Happiness is a cup of tea and a new magazine”!!
OK I’m going to test out Dr Seuss’s quote
