Sparkle Roundup!

Isn’t that photo pretty? It makes me long for summer, it’s so dreary and cold here, but at least I get to wear brightly-coloured scarves and not be too hot in my boots!

Here it is, the first Sparkle Roundup on the new domain, so I have done my best to make it a good one! I’m sure you’ll find something great to read to make your Friday sparkle a little more brightly!

* Firstly I must plug The Secret Society of List Addicts again, it’s going from strength to strength and I’m so thrilled to be involved!

* Freya, definitely one of my favourite bloggers, has beaten me to the idea of a post listing “10 New Years Resolutions Everyone Should Make“. The title speaks for itself really,  they’re definitely going on my list!

* Miss Corrine has written a great post with “10 Ways to Improve Your Daily Style” and I think her words, “Dress for the life you’re working towards.. and not the one you believe you have to live!” are equally as profound if not more so than the designers she quotes in the article.

* Amanda Lee has posted the article I’ve been looking for – “How to Make Heels Bearable“! I will be trying out these tips as soon as I can find a nice pair of heels that actually fit me properly!

* Doe Deere has posted a brilliant interview with Trend Forecaster Glendy del Cid – “Predicting Fashion Future” which is a great read and really informative if you’ve ever wondered how trends get from the runways into your magazines.

* Fabulously Broke has posted an article on “Yuppie Guilt and how to deal with it” which I found really interesting.

* Chrissy has made a very interesting observation entitled “The Kitchen Aid Conspiracy“.

* Skgillespie‘s list of “12 Things I have Learned From Rent Inspections” is hilarious and so, so true!

* Bleeding Espresso and Coop have both made delicious-sounding food posts with recipes I really must try soon – “What’s Cooking Wednesday”  and “Easy Mint Chocolate Brownies“!

Have a wonderful weekend! xx
