Yet another week in the Blogosphere has passed by, and my Google Reader has been full to bursting every day! Thank you for your amazing and inspiring posts this week, I’ve been half asleep for most of it and they’ve made the minutes at work tick by a little faster!
* If you haven’t read Gala’s post on “How to Survive Mercury Retrograde“, it’s a really interesting read! I’m still skeptical where astrology is concerned, but it would explain quite a lot!
* Aimee Marie’s “The Big Fat Creative Careers Slump” offers brilliant advice for those of us who wish to pursue a career in the creative arts, but are finding the current financial climate prohibitive.
* If you’re down about your career, or anything else right now then Mermaid has the answer: “Simple ways to be more marvellous, when all you want to do is cry” will help you stop despairing and start sparkling!
* The amazing Amelia Arsenic (seriously, this girl is fabulous) has kicked her “Love and Distortion” series of posts off to a great start with “Parlour tricks from the non-digital age“, a wealth of ideas for creative things to do without being in front of a computer, illustrated by some wonderful photography.
* There were several purse / handbag-related posts this week! Oddee.com, a great blog if you like reading about the more unusual parts of life, featured “12 Strangest Handbags and Purses“. I particularly like the decapitated head in a bag purse!
* The Joy of Daily Living tells us “What to carry in your purse if you have migraines“, with some great advice.
* Viola Megan’s post with her “Top 20 Cheap Tricks for your Makeup Bag” is great if you need to save a little money on your cosmetics!
* Doe Deere has written a post entitled “Your ME Time“, with some brilliant suggestions on how to spend your time if your other half is away.
* If you need a little inspiration, then Tres Lola has a beautiful post called “Day Dreaming & Empire Building” to give you lots to think about.
* Follow it up with Ashe Mischief’’s guest post on Fish Nor Fowl entitled “Where Creativity Meets Personal Style” and you’ll soon be thinking and looking fabulous!
* Amanda Lee’s post on “The Cost Per Wear” about how much your clothing really costs when factoring in how much use you get out of it is both interesting and really made me think.
I hope you have exciting plans for the weekend and that it’s every bit as brilliant as you want it to be!
xx

Those purses ARE weird. But, I’m kind of partial to the chicken feet purse for some reason.
I’m pretty skeptical when it comes to astrology too, but I’ve been having an off week. A waaaaaaaay off week.
The parlor tricks post is getting my brain going. A one-day zine sounds rather fun…
Yay! Lots of reading! I’ve been looking for some new blogs to visit, so I’ll have to check out these. I’m loving your site! Fabulous!
Great links Vixel, thank-you!
Thanks for the links, babe!
