My First Awards!

I am so incredibly flattered to have been given this lovely blogging award, my first, by the exceedingly fabulous Birdie! I absolutely love her blog and would urge you all to give it a read if you haven’t already, and receiving this award from her has made my week!

It is my great pleasure to pass this along to some of my favourite bloggers. It was a tough job narrowing it down to just a handful, as there are so many wonderful blogs out there, but here are some of my current favourite reads which I hope you’ll enjoy!

* Half Accidental – Gem has a great writing voice and I particularly love the fiction she posts.

* Life of Bridey – I love reading about her travels, Bridey’s blog really makes me want to see more of the world!

* Gin in a Teacup – A lovely blog that always seems to be full of beautiful things.

* Dramatis Personae – A great style blog, I love her advice posts.

* The New Me – Chrissie’s posts about her life are a joy to read and full of lovely photos.

* Tres Lola – One of my favourite blogs, full of insightful, beautifully-written advice and articles.

* Charade – Although a blog aimed at students, most the information and articles posted here would be useful to anyone!

I was then thrilled to discover that Tara of Gin in a Teacup had presented me with this lovely award!

This award is for sites that show “attitude or gratitude” and it is my pleasure to pass it on to:

* Fish Nor Fowl – I love Freya’s posts about life and the little snippets of inspiration in the form of her “words with weight” posts.

* Yes and Yes – Sarah also makes some amazing travel and general lifestyle posts.

* Code for Something – A beautiful blog filled with insightful prose and amazing photos!

* Amanda Lee – This lady is fabulous and I particularly love her Etsy picks – she has marvellous taste!

* The Adventures of Cupcakes – Clara’s adventures in Bangkok make me yearn to see that part of the world.

* The Pomegranate Blog – Carmen writes high-quality articles on a wide range of subjects, my favourites being her literature posts and interviews.

I’d love to pass these on to more people, as there are so many other blogs I enjoy every day, however I’m about to be late for work!
