I always find it difficult to think of suitable images for these posts, so I must apologise profusely for the terrible “links” punnage. I’ll try to think of something better next week, or even design a logo (though that might be stretching my creative skills a little, I’ve never been that good at the visual stuff!)
With the iCiNG Transformation Challenge well underway, personal development is in all the blogs I read right now, so hopefully you’ll find something in this week’s Sparkle Roundup to help you with your own challenge!
* Kikolani has a post entitled “Living a Healthy Lifestyle” which contains a wealth of information that will be of great use to anyone who is trying to do just that this month!
* Megan has written a post that will help those of us who tend to spend a little too much on clothing and accessories – “The Ultimate Geek’s Guide to Fashion Budgeting” crammed with useful advice and tips!
* If you’re looking to improve your career, then the Chica with Issues has a brilliant post entitled “8 Places To Jump Start Your Freelance Writing Career” (something I’m trying to do when I have the time) which I think will be exceedingly helpful.
* The Creative Career also has a very useful guide entitled “One Page Resume – What to Cut to Keep it Short“, useful whether your chosen career is creative or not, but particularly helpful if you’re intending to use your artistic talents to earn a living.
* Doe Deere asks “Should we Dress Age-Appropriately“, a very interesting post in itself, made doubly so by some of the reader responses. Personally, I’ll probably be wearing tutus and glitter when I’m 40!
* Tres Lola has a great post that I’m sure will help me become the morning person I’d so dearly like to be: “Rise & Shine: Wake Up With Simple Stretches” I’ve tried these, and once I can will myself to extract my arms from underneath my nice warm duvet, they really do help me to drag myself out of bed and face the world.

* Sally has written just the post I’ve been looking for in order to inspire me to break out my sewing machine. “Easy Thrift Alterations” contains instructions on altering clothes bought at thrift stores that even I can do, and I haven’t touched a sewing machine since I was 13!
* The Happiness Project is a great blog and their “9 Tips to Avoid Overspending” are basically a foolproof guide to simple budgeting and money-sense.
* Penelope Bat‘s “Style Essentials for the Unconventional Girl” is just fabulous!
* and finally, The Glamourous Grad Student tells us “How to wear Glasses Glamourously” a brilliant idea and an excellent post!
I hope you enjoy these and have a great Friday and an even more amazing weekend! If I don’t post much over the next week it’s because I’m super-busy, or I’m stranded somewhere between the Midlands and Kent due to the UK’s complete inability to cope with a bit of snow! Wish me luck!
xx

I have an idea…you could use Link from the Legend of Zelda video games as a picture on your sparkle roundup oneday!
I’m gonna have to try that stretching routine.
My favourite list of links so far
Thanks, Vixel! These are all exceptional!
I can’t get enough of these links!
Chains eh?
@ Ash – I love that idea, I can’t believe I didn’t think of it! The Zelda series are my favourite video games ever!
Thanks for including me in your roundup, and for pointing to the site. I love it!
~ Kristi
