I’m more than a little happy it’s Friday today! My day job might not be as strenuous as working in the solicitors office, but it tires me out through sheer boredom, and I’m glad for a weekend where I can relax and catch up with friends. As promised, this is a bumper Sparkle Roundup full of two weeks’ worth of posts! Hopefully there’s something here for everyone!

* Claire writes about how to live like a lady whose life is definitely full of sparkle in “Livig Like Elle Woods“.

* If you suffer from dry hands in winter like I do, then The Coveted has a post entitled “Wave Goodbye to Dry Winter Hands & Feet” that’s packed full of excellent advice.

* Is your style feeling a bit boring at the moment? Try reading College Fashion‘s “Ways to Create a Wardrobe that’s Uniquely Yours” for some ideas!

* Erin‘s “Totally Excellent Ideas” post is about one of my great loves – the pre-uni organisation spree! I love getting organised at the beginning of the academic year, it’s just a shame it doesn’t last!

* What Elizabeth Kubler-Ross Can Teach Us about Life, Happiness and Pain is a beautiful post.

* Learn This is a blog I’ve only recently discovered full of great advice. “What Does Working Hard Mean to You?” is a particularly brilliant post which highlights the difference between working hard and simply working longer.

* Whether or not this directly affects you:

New Zealand's new Copyright Law presumes 'Guilt Upon Accusation' and will Cut Off Internet Connections without a trial. Join the black out protest against it!

* More brilliance as usual from Problogger: “How to Get Free Books to Review on Your Blog

* Gorgeously Neurotic has made yet another post that really struck a chord with me: “Love Yourself” – very positive and inspiring reading. Bambola‘s post, “Self Love” is also a brilliant read along the same lines but from a different angle.

* Attraction Mind Map, another reasonably new addition to my list of daily reads has a great post “Installing Love On the Human Computer“.

* Ashe has posted a guide to an event I would very much love to attend someday – Mardi Gras in New Orleans. “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler” is essential reading both for those attending and those who would like to.

* Doe Deere has written a really interesting article entitled “LiveJournal: the wounded superhero“. My first regularly-updated blog was on Livejournal, and I still use it (primarily for the communities and a few friends still posting there) so it was a really fascinating read for me.

* Mademoiselle Robot has a Guest Post by Lily Koppel about her new book, “The Red Leather Diary” that sounds amazing. The post itself is a beautiful story!

* Dan Massicotte‘s post “Five Reasons to be Positive About Negative People” is great if you find your mood is dragged down by others.

* Freya has posted some great ways to make your week sparkle in her post entitled “Grit and Glamour“.

* The Positivity Blog contains advice on “How to Never Get Writer’s Block” – brilliant!

* “Turn the Beat Around or, How to Reverse Your Bad Work Day” is a lovely post by Coop containing advice we could all do with at some point in our working lives, no matter how great the job!

* “Quit Wasting Time” is a brilliant post about avoiding procrastination. Looking forward to part 2!

* I love this post: “Dr Anna and her Bag of RX” by La Bellette Rouge is a great post full of movie prescriptions for particular “ailments”.

Have a sparkly weekend! xx
