What an exciting last few days I’ve had! Working on the UK Lady Bloggers Meetup has certainly put a smile on my face, it feels really good to have a new project, especially one that’s appreciated by so many of my favourite bloggers!
It’s been a good week overall actually, I’ve had more energy than I have done for quite a while which has made me very productive this week, I only hope it continues! The highlights of the week were:
* The UK Lady Bloggers Meetup!- Well of course, this had to be the first item on my list! I’m so happy to see so many wonderful bloggers want to meet up, it’s going to be amazing!
* Unapologetically eating Nutella with a spoon from the jar – It’s healthier than just eating chocolate, and I’m going to keep telling myself that until I believe it!
* Shopping at Aldi – I managed to get a taxi home and still spend less overall than I would at other supermarkets without the taxi included! So far it’s all delicious too!
* Taking a break from the computer – Just for a couple of hours a night, whilst eating and chatting with housemates. It’s doing me a lot of good and ensuring I don’t go to bed still thinking about my next blog post unable to get to sleep!
* Bottled Smoothies – 2 portions of fruit ready to grab from the fridge for breakfast? Even someone as lazy and fuzzy in the mornings as I am can manage that!
* Chick Flicks – Sometimes a trashy movie made for teenage girls is just what I need! Hence how I ended up watching and thoroughly enjoying The House Bunny. I’m not ashamed!
* Laughter – It’s amazing how much a good laugh can help brighten up a day, and make the time at work fly!
* The Sun – It is now very clear to me that I suffer from SAD. This last week I’ve felt so much more positive and energetic, and I’m sure it’s to do with the warmer weather. So glad Spring is on the way!
What’s made your week sparkle?

I think I suffer from SAD too (well, self-diagnosed anyway.) Bring on the sunshine & summer meet-ups!
Yay to UK lady bloggers
I watched the house bunny also, it was entertaining and I always enjoy a chick flick when my brain can’t handle anything to in depth or serious.
I usually work through my lunch break but recently Ive been going out for a drink or some food and I feel so much better from getting away from my computer also.

I think smoothies are the best too. I used to think they were too expensive, but after trying to eat 5+ portions of fruit each day for a few weeks I realised smoothies are well worth the money.
I got a job this week, and I’ll get to work in music venues such as the Manchester Evening News arena. Basically, paid to see bands! That has made my week sparkle!
Mmm, fruit smoothies = love.
And hooray for sunshine!
Every talks about Nutella, but I had no idea what it was. I had to google it.
It looks tasty. Maybe I should try to find myself a jar.
I have also eaten Nutella from the jar with a spoon. On more than one occasion. YOU RULE.
Wow, that meet up sounds AMAZING! SO jealous!
Sounds like you’d have an awesome week, Vixel
@ Melanie – Oooh congratulations on the job!
@ Jackie – You so need to try it, it’s amazing!
Thanks ladies! xx
