The lovely Aimee Marie has hit upon a brilliant idea. Since there are lots of us who don’t use Yahoo Groups or Facebook and possibly would not wish to sign up to a service just for one group, she has created the UK Lady Bloggers social network at Ning.com. All you need to sign up is an email address! The Facebook group will still be used to post announcements and an event will be created when a date and venue has been finalised. The ning.com group will be the main online venue for organising the meetup so if you want to have some input in what happens, it is essential that you join in!

I’ve just posted on the community ‘off_highstreet’ on LiveJournal too as I know there are a lot of like-minded girly bloggers on there as well. It’s in the moderation queue.
This is such a fab idea! I’m glad I found your blog, and now there are so many other UK bloggers to meet! Really, I haven’t seen that many so this is a great way to socialise
