I’ve been tagged by the lovely Gem from Half Accidental!

What is your current obsession?
Low impact exercises, tea, anything starring Nathan Fillion
What are you wearing now?
Dark blue jeans, an eggshell blue short-sleeved sweater, black underwear, black trainers, red bow necklace.
Do you nap a lot?
I do occasionally at the weekend and when I’m ill, but I don’t usually have time to during the week.
Why is today special?
It… isn’t really!
What would you like to learn to do?
Sew my own clothes, speak and write Latin, lots of things! I find something new I want to learn every day!
What’s for dinner?
I haven’t decided yet, I’m going shopping after work so it’ll probably be something quite quick and easy tonight.
What was the last thing you bought?
A bus card this morning, not very interesting, sorry!
What are you listening to right now?
Colleagues talking to customers, the tapping of many fingers on many keyboards.
What is your favorite weather?
Sunny and warm enough to sit outside a pub in a sleeveless top and not feel cold, but not hot enough to break a sweat during the slightest activity.
What is on your bedside table?
Off the top of my head (at work right now so I can’t check) reading material, a pen, post-its, a glass of water, a mini torch (not sure why) and my phone charger.
What’s your style?
More feminine and less goth than I used to be, but probably quite hard to pin down. I just wear what I like (or what comes to hand when I’m in a hurry!)
What is your most challenging goal right now?
Definitely doing well in my law course whilst holding down a full-time job. It’s exceedingly tiring at times!
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where do you want it to be?
From a practical point of view, probably Birmingham!
Name the things you cannot live without.
Friends and loved ones, my “me time”, a creative outlet, caffeine, plenty of sleep! (I am well aware that those last two don’t tend to go hand in hand).
What would you like to have in your hands right now?
A large amount of cash wouldn’t go amiss!
What would you like to get rid of?
My debts, aches and pains, and the mess in my room!
What was the last book you read?
I re-read Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my favourite books of all time.
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Truth be told, probably home to my bed, I have a splitting headache today!
What languages can you speak?
English, a tiny bit of French.
What language(s) do you want to be able to speak?
French (properly), Latin – I’d love to be able to speak a dead language!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A lawyer who really helps people and a writer too. I’d love, eventually, to make a living from writing, but I would like to have a successful career in the law first.
