Busy week again, lots of craziness, so it’s a shorter than usual TiLT from me today. I hope you’re all having a great week, here’s what’s getting me through mine!
* Manics Tickets – I’m going to see the Manic Street Preachers for the first time in years, and although I’m not a complete obsessive fan anymore, it’s so great to be excited about seeing them again! I’m all nostalgic, and considering dressing up and queueing to re-live the “good old days” properly! By extension, listening to them again is really great!

* Having Today off Work – Although I’m spending it working on my essay, it’s nice to be able to do that on my own in an empty house with a big mug of coffee and nothing but the Internet to distract me!
* April Fools – I’ve never actually created my own, but I love looking out for all the April Fools jokes.
* Having fun without spending a fortune – I’ve never been that great at it when I’m with other people, but I’m learning!
* Feeling Lucky – Sure, money’s tight and my job is rubbish, but at least I’m only having to make small sacrifices like not buying so much new clothing, eating out less etc. in order to keep up my lifestyle. During all my job-hunting, I think I lost sight of that just a little.
* Looking Forwards – I’m ridiculously busy at the moment, and sometimes I really can’t be bothered to get on with what I have to do, but I keep reminding myself, once I get it done I can relax, and it’s all for a good purpose!
What’s made your week sparkle?
I think I need to look ahead too, to keep remembering why I work so hard. Sounds great about seeing the Manics. I used to be like that with Stereophonics, would love to see them again some time.
I really love these, especially the last few. They’re so optimistic. And your day of sitting at home with nothing to do but write an essay and drink coffee sound perfect! That’s what I’d be doing if I didn’t have class all day.

Heyyyyy, Right Now I am – Loving the fact that I just had about a foot chopped off of my hair, I’m loving back-reading this blog, and I am loving the fact that I am on Easter break from Uni. In response to the essay situation – keep going, just last week I had about 6000 words due in on the same day, an hour apart, and it was hell, but the feeling afterwards is amazing!!!!

I could just drink a nice big mug of coffe. I don’t very often because it make sme a bit hyper. Time alone to work on stuff is great and you feel so good when it’s done.
I love having days off from work – even when they are still spent working, it’s always nice to be in your own home ♥
