Thursday again, and I’ve spent yet another week completely distracted by my “real life” (that seems wrong somehow, the Internet is meant to be the distraction yet I feel quite a lot of the time like all the politics, form-filling and bill-paying of the real world is a just dragging me away from the simplicity of sitting at my computer!). Some of the sorting out I’ve been doing will lead to good things however, so it’s all in the spirit of sparkliness.
My week has sparkled due to:
* Space Documentaries – The 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11 means lots of TV documentaries about the Moon and the Space Programme in general. Being a huge space geek, I’ve been watching as many of them as I can!
* Money – Payday couldn’t come too soon this week, and I’ve also been looking into other ways to make a bit of extra cash. In making my finances a little more comfortable I’ll remove a lot of the stress from my life, plus it will be nice to be able to afford a few more of the pretty things I’m lusting after!

* Looking Forward to The Weekend – This weekend is going to be amazing, starting with the UK Lady Bloggers Meetup on Friday, followed by what promises to be a fabulous wedding on Saturday, then a night in a hotel on my own (something I really enjoy once in a while) before travelling home on Sunday. I’ll be exhausted and probably hung over, but it promises to be heaps of fun!
* Drama – The drama of a massive hailstorm followed by the car park at work flooding, the drama of a persistent, downright rude customer who wouldn’t stop calling and insulting people (thankfully he only managed to speak to the thicker-skinned people in the office), we all rather appreciated the way it broke up an otherwise dull Friday afternoon!
* Office 2010: The Movie - A rather brilliant geek joke!
* Other: Planning outfits, watching all of True Blood series one, taking lots of vitamins, watching thunderstorms, old-fashioned manners, circle skirts with pockets, my new nameplate necklace, the smell of clean laundry, receiving really sweet texts, planning beautiful projects, green tea perfume, doodling, steak in port and mushroom sauce, the boy for bringing me coffee when I desperately need it, having freshly-dyed hair, listening to Gary Numan.

Yay! I’m a space nerd too! Although the docos that have been on have seriously triggered my grammar nazi buttons. It was just this past weekend that I realised that what Neil Armstrong said as he stepped on the moon makes no freakin’ sense. Man and Mankind are the same thing! It should have been one small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind. LOL rant over
Ooh, Gary Numan! I LOVE ‘Cars’. This week, my week’s been sparkly due to the occurrence of excellent grades, Forever21.com spending sprees, planning driving lessons and laughing non-stop.. happy weekend!
