This week has been somewhat epic for this blog, shattering traffic records left, right and centre, and it’s really brought my focus back onto writing. For those of you who enjoyed my previous post, I have something resembling a follow-up to be posted in the next couple of days, but for now, it’s Thursday, time for some appreciation!
So, this week I love:
* Intelligent Debate – people are saying some really interesting things on the previous post, and I’m finding myself challenging a lot of my own views! I hope I can think of more interesting subjects to inspire further debates!
* My First Nasty Anonymous Comment!- Yes, I believe this to be TiLT-worthy (ironic because said commenter isn’t too happy that I like writing TiLT lists) because honestly, I see it as a bit of a blogging milestone! I’m rather proud of it!
* Family- I spent yesterday afternoon with my brother, sister-in-law and 3 year-old nephew who spent the afternoon running from one end of the house to the other, pretending to be a monster (yes, I joined in). Highly entertaining but it certainly reminded me why I currently have no intention of having kids of my own – other peoples’ are ok, but I like to be able to give them back when I need a break, I was exhausted by the time they left!
* Relaxing - Last night instead of going online and getting on with things, cleaning up or any one of the numerous tasks that need to be done over the next few days, I sat down and watched most of Cast Away (it had already started), simply because I hadn’t seen it before and I felt like watching it. I rarely just watch TV, usually I’m doing some form of work or other computer-based activity at the same time, so it was nice to “zone out” for a while.
* Getting Things Done – as a serial procrastinator, the fact that I’ve finished several big tasks and almost finished the rest is a big load off my mind!
What’s making your week sparkle?

This is going to sound cheesy, but HONESTY has made my week infinitely better. My boyfriend opened up to me about something that he had been “hiding,” and there is now a whole new dynamic in our relationship- for the better. It opened the door to a lot of discussion… I feel like our relationship is new again. I have butterflies and everything
and those are my sparkles of the week
Not cheesy at all, it sounds wonderful
