First Blogiversary!

Sparkle and Glitter is one year old today! Thank you all for sticking with me (even through slow periods like the current one), for your lovely comments, encouragement and constructive criticism when I’ve needed it. I still see this blog as a baby to be honest, I intended it to have far more “direction” by now, but it’s a labour of love not a profit-making venture so whilst direction is desirable, it’s not particularly essential.

What started as an experiment, a sandbox for me to investigate this Social Media concept everyone was talking about, has become a big part of my life and I feel I’ve got to know some really amazing people through blogs I may never have discovered if I hadn’t been researching posts for my own blog, or finding interesting links for “Sparkle Roundup” posts.

It’s been an amazing year full of ups and downs, and I’m looking forward to many more years of blogging ahead of me!
