It’s that day of the week again, the time to be thankful for everything awesome that’s happened this week, and everything that we’re looking forward to! I hope you’ve all had a great week, mine’s been mixed, but I think things are on the up!
This week I’ve been loving:
* Looking Forward To Seeing Everyone Again – The first weekend of my course starts on Saturday and I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again and catching up.
* Dressing Up – A friend wanted to celebrate her birthday in style, so we went to the nicest bars in town dressed up to the nines and drank cocktails! It was a great evening, I think dressing in one’s best evening wear lends an extra dimension of fun to a night out, plus an excuse to get men into nice suits is always good!
* Feeling Better - It’s so good to be over the flu-like thing I had, followed by the chesty cough it left in it’s wake, and although I’m still coughing occasionally I feel much healthier now!
* Tidiness – We have a house inspection tomorrow and as such, we’ve been cleaning the house more thoroughly than usual (I admit it – I have vacuuming and we don’t do it nearly as often as we should). Although the house isn’t dirty, it’s never really tidy either, but currently it is and I’m loving it right now!
* Brighter Hair – After leaving it on my desk for over a month, I finally found the time and motivation to put some temporary colour over the top of my hair dye to brighten it up, and wow it’s made an amazing difference! My hair is now the colour I originally wanted it to be, so I think I’m going to keep doing it this way!
* Other- Watching far too much TV, eating chorizo slices out of the packet, appreciating central heating, starting my 101/1001 project, lying in bed until the last possible minute in the morning, searching for pretty silver charms, drinking lots of water, cardigan shopping!
What’s making your week sparkle?
I’m so with you about the dressing up. I looove seeing men in suits, they just look extremely good and handsome *_*. I’m really lucky to be able to see Prince Charming (read: not my BF… yet) in a suit on a regular basis, the suit plus his ditzy expression = totally cute.
What’s making my week sparkle?
-Copious amounts of tea
-Great Mexicanized sushi (read: surimi + cucumber + cream cheese + chipotle sauce)
-My iPod Touch, I lovelovelovelove it! Best investment lately.
-Watching A listen to Iced Earth on a Pink iPod XDDD
People should be more cautious when using hair dye because some chemicals used in the dyeing process are cancerous.”~
