I’ve had quite an odd week! The first course weekend of the year really takes it out of me! I really don’t know how I used to manage it at school, actually having to use my brain all day! It’s always interesting though, and dare I say it, good fun – I really am that much of a nerd.
Currently my list of awesome things includes:
* Duvets – As the weather gets colder, I’m really starting to appreciate the duvet on my bed more, and I’ve brought my winter staple (as of last year) the single one that resides on my desk chair ready to be wrapped around me when I’m working or online.
* Perfume Samples – I love perfume, and every so often I get the urge to try something new so I order a load of samples from various websites and try out some new fragrances! I love having lots of delicious scents to test!
* Present-Buying – Sometimes, buying things for others can be even more fun than buying for myself, especially when I’m shopping for silly things I know will make the other person smile, but that I’d never “waste” the money on if I were buying them for me!
* Central Heating – Truly a wonderful thing! At the moment I’m particularly enjoying waking up toasty warm and wrapping myself in scarves I’ve had draped over the radiator so they’re nice and warm!
* Themes for Everything! – I appear to be going through a phase of changing the themes on my iGoogle homepage, browser, etc. every other day, which gives me something pretty to look at during work! I’m intending to learn how to make my own themes soon.
* Other- Amazing apples that my parents brought me from a cider farm (plus the rather strong bottle of cider I’m saving for the weekend), red lipstick (again – one can never praise it enough!), shameless consumerism, declaring everything to be postmodern, Marks and Spencer sushi, aimlessly trawling Flickr for pretty pictures, really bad in-jokes and taking photos of cute things!

Perfume samples are great. I love hanging around make-up and perfume stores and trying everything. ^^ And I also love buying presents for other people. There’s this great feeling of thinking of that person, and trying to find something special.
