Another week, another TiLT, I hope you’ve all had an amazing one!
* Gary Numan – Seriously, the man is amazing! He is SO good live and I swear, I’d like to be able to throw myself around like he does now, let alone at 51!
* Transport Luck – After the gig we managed, thanks to some really good luck, to get straight on the first of two buses to get home, and only had a 3-minute connection for the next. We thought we were going to have to hang around the airport for 45 minutes in the cold!
* Kitties! – My mother called me the other day to tell me that their new kitten had taken up residence on my old bed. I’m now really looking forward to spending Xmas in Kent – never mind the presents and family, etc., I want to meet the cat!
* Yet More Shopping – I purchased a Sleek palette, finally, after reading so many positive reviews! I’ll be experimenting with it over the weekend whilst in Birmingham again for my course, so expect tweets and possibly photos! I also purchased my very first set of false eyelashes, inspired by this excellent guide!
* Apples – I’m absolutely loving them at the moment for some reason! As a conveniently-portable snack at work, sliced with a bit of cheese, boiled up with sugar into apple sauce, I can’t get enough of them!
* Jojoba Oil – Yes I know some troll will probably find it hilarious to accuse me of copying a certain recently non-pink-haired blogger, and yes, I did initially take notice of it because of her blog, so sue me! I did some research, bought a small bottle to try it out and it is amazing stuff! I have combination skin but using jojoba oil after cleansing seems to stop the greasy areas getting as greasy whilst moisturising the dry bits. It really is fabulous!
* Other – Experimenting with brightly-coloured make-up, delicious gooey Camembert, loading up on vitamin C to ward off all the illnesses around at the moment, being really bad at video games (Mirror’s Edge has me swearing like a sailor at the moment, but it’s fun!), hot chocolate, yet more Pokemon addiction!
