- My site is written entirely in English, on a US server with a UK domain. So why, whenever I check my spam comments filter, do around 70% of them appear to be written in Greek?
- Blogging makes me yearn to see more of the world, not for the great historic sites, sunny beaches, or famous resorts, but because blogger X makes the nightlife in Y town seem so appealing, or because of the great vintage shops and cafés that such-and-such a blogger is always in and out of.
- Bloggers I’ve never met before have appeared in my dreams.
- I’m going to really miss my under-paid and going nowhere office job when I leave (job-hunting in earnest after my June exams) because I can’t think of any “better” job that will allow me to get away with blogging on the clock!
- I find myself frequently starting sentences with words such as “a blogger I read recommended…” or “I read on X blog that…”.
- “Sod’s Law” definitely applies here – when I don’t have time to blog, I suddenly have loads of ideas and things I want to share!
- After I move house, if we have to go without the Internet for a while before it’s installed, I’m going to need to get a pay as you go mobile broadband dongle to tide me over. I told The Boy this is so that I can get on with my revision properly. In reality it’s mostly so that I can keep up with the Blogosphere!
How has blogging affected your life or just made you go “Hmmmm…” recently?

Hahahaha, I can say a big fat ”YES!” to all of these! Blogging is a weird (and wonderful!) ride!
All these exotic locations always sound better than they really are. The adage “the grass is always greener…” holds true.
